திடீர்   மழை                                        சென்னை , காஞ்சிபுரம் , திருவள்ளூர் , போன்ற வட தமிழக மாவட்டங்களில் இன்று திடீரென கனமழை பெய்தது. பிற்பகல் 3.30 மணி அளவில் தென் சென்னை பகுதிகளில் நல்ல மழை பெய்தது, தற்பொழுது வரை இம்மழை தொடர்ந்து பெய்து வருகிறது.  மழைக்கான காரணம்                            வடக்கு வங்காள விரிகுடா கடல் பகுதியில் நிலவி வந்த தீவிர காற்றழுத்த தாழ்வு பகுதி மேற்கு திசை காற்றில் ஏற்பட்ட குழிவு காரணமாக,  இத்தாழ்வு பகுதியானது வடகிழக்கு திசையில் நகர்ந்து வங்காளம் மற்றும் அதனை ஒட்டியுள்ள பகுதிகளில் கரையை கடக்கும். இதன் காரணமாக காற்றில் திசை மாற்றம் ஏற்பட்டுள்ளது .             தமிழக பகுதியில் வடதிசையில் இருந்து வறண்ட காற்றும் மேற்கு திசையில் இருந்து வரும் ஈரப்பதம் நிறைந்த காற்றும் 13° வடக்கு ரேகை அருகே குவிகிறது . இதன் காரணமாகவே இன்று திடீரென இடி மின்னல...

Predicting NE monsoon is that easy ?                      Our monsoon is one of the toughest matter to predict/conclude/find whatever it may be. It is not just so easy because the changing dynamics and the weather pattern makes it difficult to predict its behaviour. And adding to this the global climatic change also has its own impact on monsoon . So the title prediction involves my own observation of the weather dynamics and ongoing weather related events prior to the NE monsoon and in the midway of monsoon.   ElNino                   Nino refers to the difference in the sea surface temperatures (SST) compared to the temperature anomalies. Nino is observed in the pacific region which is denoted as pacific 3.4 region. Here the ElNino refers to the increase in SST against anomalies. ElNino interplays with the monsoon of the Indian subcontinent and the adjoining Indian Ocean . If ElNino is present in the 3.4 region coupled with negative IOD and in the presence of MJO causes heavy rainfall events during NE monsoon.  Fast charging                        Charging of the device's battery invloves the reversal of electrons in the negative terminal to its original state. Before the arrival of fast charging technology mobile phone batteries took some time to charge with particular output from their respective chargers. Though it was not much a deal for the users as in those days the capacity of battery was nominal but now every mobile phone users out there expects a more capacity battery with faster charging speeds. Generally phones with normal charging speeds charges the battery steadily without an impact in the wear & tear of battery but, nowadays fast chargers reverses the electron from the negative terminal to its original state at a very quicker time .  Project Mainline                         Project Mainline was one of objectives in the Android 10. The project mainline is the successor of project treble. This move from the Google's android os helps them to push some of the critical updates from their side to the android devices out there running Android 10 or above. It is said to be an easiest way because in Android 9 & below versions seek the critical security patches/fixes which took time to roll out in their devices as it needs to cross the OEM's hands . To bring it to an end it was achieved by Project main line of Android 10. In Android 10 a total of 12 OS components were became independent from the hands of OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturers).  Delayed onset of Northeast monsoon.                             This year the much awaited Northeast monsoon is to delayed due to the resistance in the withdrawal of Southwest monsoon . The withdrawal is halted at 25'north latitude due to the aftercoming circulations/pulses from south chine sea which as restricted the withdrawal of Southwest monsoon over peninsular region . This makes the reversal of wind direction from west-east to east-west difficult. MJO is prevailing over south china sea(maritime continents) is likely to move away and once this movement begins the rapid withdrawal of SWM will take place and the NEM will set in quite after it. This onset process will happen between 23rd OCT to 28th OCT (normal onset 17-18th OCT) which means a delayed onset this time for us .
